You’ve probably seen that little orange box with the phrase “Subscribe to RSS” so often you barely even notice it. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. If that is a mouthful, translate it as “Read, Surf, SUBSCRIBE!”
Like what you see on Mojo40? By subscribing, you get the latest content delivered to you. That way you don’t have to constantly keep checking on the site to see if you’re missing anything. The thing that delivers that content to you is called a feed.
Feeds deliver the fresh content in two different ways:
1. Into your email box. If you want to get an email update, just enter your email address in the subscribe box and you’ll get a post every Tuesday and Friday.
2. Into your customized home page or reader. (MyYahoo, iGoogle, Google Reader, etc.) If you are lost on the latter choice, go for the email.
Make a commitment. Subscribe so you won’t miss any good stuff. Simple!
